VOID

VOID is a 3 LP collection documenting the major periods of Mac Miller’s life and his journey towards beating addiction. The covers are hand manipulated typography, using texture, motion, and collage to capture the chaos that was Mac’s life during each of these eras. The discs are similar in the color schemes but are digital paintings done in Photoshop that capture the feelings I get listening to the music. While I think the music and painted vinyl speak for themselves, I really wanted Mac’s drug fueled self-destruction to be present on the covers, but once you look past the troubled life he lived, you will see this beautiful and powerful art that will last forever.
